Launch of the 2025 Call for Proposals by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership: €184.5 Million to Support Innovation in Renewable Hydrogen

The 2025 call for proposals targets the entire value chain (production, storage, distribution, and uses). This program will be divided into 19 research topics, with particular attention given to Hydrogen Valleys—projects aimed at creating integrated local infrastructure for hydrogen production and use—which account for nearly 44% of the total budget, with €80 million allocated.

A specific funding source comes from the RePowerEU plan, which aims to double the number of Hydrogen Valleys within the European Union.

Other key priorities include renewable hydrogen production (€40 million), storage and distribution (€16 million), and transport (€17 million).

Proposals must be submitted via the dedicated European portal by April 23, 2025.
