Lhyfe received RFNBO certification for its 1 MW renewable hydrogen site in Bouin (Vendée), becoming the first in France to obtain EU certification under the CertifHy scheme via TÜV SÜD and Atmen’s digital platform. The site, operational since 2021, currently produces 300 kg/day, with plans to scale up to 1000kg/day.

GazelEnergie has launched a call for expressions of interest for its Emil’Hy renewable and low-carbon hydrogen project in Saint-Avold, Grand-Est, to identify future offtakers.

Socotec conducted a regulatory and technical risk assessment for Gen-Hy’s containerised electrolysis systems, which can produce up to 400 kg of hydrogen.

Midstream | Storage & Transport

The EU signed a €28.3 million funding agreement for the BarMar hydrogen pipeline project, during a meeting between Commissioner Teresa Ribera and the H2med consortium, including grid operator Natran.

The European Commission approved €3.5 million in funding for the Rhyn and Rhyn Interco hydrogen pipeline projects by Natran and terranets, to plan 100 km of pipeline between southern Alsace and southwest Baden-Württemberg.

Vallourec announced that Delfhy, its vertical hydrogen storage solution of up to 100 tonnes capacity, has been certified by DNV.

Downstream | Industry

Scope: ammonia, methanol, kerosene, steel and other derivatives and chemicals, etc.

Hynamics published the consultation report for its Take Kair project, which aims to produce 37,500 tonnes of e-kerosene annually by 2030.

H2V completed the preliminary consultation for its H2V Thionville project in Moselle, targeting annual production of 30,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen and 150,000 tonnes of e-methanol by 2030.

Haffner Energy partnered with Luxaviation under SAF Zero, its initiative to finance synthetic aviation fuel projects.

Verso Energy and Groupe ADP signed a strategic partnership to develop the e-SAF industry in France and are exploring a potential offtake agreement for ADP to purchase synthetic fuels from Verso Energy.

Helion Hydrogen Power opened a plant in Aix-en-Provence, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, to produce fuel cells for stationary and marine applications.

Hysetco opened a hydrogen refuelling station in Orly, Île-de-France, in partnership with Groupe ADP.

HYmpulsion inaugurated a hydrogen station from HRS at Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, with a capacity of 150 vehicles per day, in partnership with Aéroports de Lyon.

Hynamics began construction of its Cannes Lérins Hydrogène station, in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, to supply 41 hydrogen buses; the site will have an 800 kg/day capacity.

PowiDian Energy won a tender to install a 300-bar station in Albi, Occitanie.

RATP Group launched the first of 17 hydrogen buses in Créteil, Île-de-France.

Kéolis unveiled a hydrogen bus fleet in Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

A hydrogen refuse truck by SEMAT joined the fleet in La Roche-sur-Yon, Pays de la Loire.

Pragma Industries delivered hydrogen bikes, a cargo bike, and an H2Gremm station to a hotel in Domaine de Verchant in Occitanie.

Atawey raised €22 million to expand in heavy mobility, enhance services (training, maintenance, ecosystem support), and scale up production at its Chambéry and Grenoble sites, in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.

HPQ Silicon, Novacium, and Pragma Industries signed a partnership to integrate Novacium’s Metagene stations into Pragma’s light mobility solutions.

XSun and H3 Dynamics partnered to develop hydrogen-electric solar drones.

EODev has inaugurated a hydrogen generator factory in Antony, Île-de-France, where it showcased live EV charging using one of its hydrogen units.

R&D&I |

SGS inaugurated a research center in Oudalle, Normandy, dedicated to testing hydrocarbons and new energies such as hydrogen. The site is equipped for analysing biofuels, SAF, hydrogen, pyrolysis oils, and includes hydrogen analysers.
